Veg Penne Pasta

Ingredients:

  1. Penne pasta - 2 cups
  2. Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
  3. Onion - 1 small, chopped
  4. Tomato, chopped - 1
  5. Capsicum - 1/2 cup
  6. Mushroom - 1/2 cup
  7. Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  8. Oregano - a pinch
  9. Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
  10. Grated cheese - 1/4 cup
  11. Salt as needed
Preparation:

  • Cook pasta as per the instructions given in the packet.Drain it and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan.Add chopped garlic and saute for few seconds.
  • Add in chopped onion and salt ; saute till for 2-3 minutes.
  • Next, add chopped tomato and cook till it becomes soft.Throw in capsicum and mushroom; stir fry for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add cooked pasta along with oregano and chilli flakes.
  • To this, add cheese and cook till it melts.Mix everything well and switch off the flame.
