A mouth watering menu of your favourite flavours


Ingredients:

For the crust:

  1. Graham crackers /Digestive biscuits - 1 cup, powdered
  2. Unsalted butter - 3 tbsp
  3. Salt - a pinch
  4. Sugar - 2 tbsp
For the filling:

  1. Cream cheese - 3 cups, at room temperature
  2. Egg - 3 nos
  3. Sour cream - 1 cup
  4. Sugar - 1.25 cups
  5. Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  6. Vanilla essence - 2 tsp
  7. All purpose flour - 1/4 cup
Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 325 F.
  • Grease a 9 inch springform pan with  melted butter and set aside.
  • For preparing the crust, in a bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, salt and sugar.Press this mixture firmly to the bottom of the prepared springform pan, until the crumbs becomes a nice even layer.
  • For the filling, Take the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Using a hand or electric mixer, beat it until creamy.
  • Add in sugar and beat again.Next, add the eggs one by one and beat for few minutes.
  • To this, add sour cream, lemon juice, vanilla essence, and all purpose flour.Mix again until smooth.Do not overbeat the mixture.
  • Pour the cheesecake filling into the pan carefully.The filling should be evenly distributed.
  • Place the pan on the oven's middle rack and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until firm.
  • After the baking time, turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake in the oven for 2 hours .
  • Remove it from the oven after 2 hours and let it cool completely.Refrigerate for 8-9 hours before serving.Top the cheesecake with some graham cracker crumbs or garnish with some berries or fruits.This is completely optional.


Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour/Maida - 2 cups
  2. Butter - 1/4 cup
  3. Eggs - 2
  4. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  5. Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  6. Sugar - 1 cup
  7. Orange juice - 1 cup
  8. Orange zest - 1 tbsp
  9. Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  10. Salt - 1/4 tsp
Preparation:
  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together butter, sugar and eggs until creamy.
  • Add orange juice, vanilla essence and orange zest.Beat again for few seconds.
  • In another bowl, sieve all purpose flour, baking powder ,baking soda and salt.
  • Add this flour mixture to the beaten egg mixture and fold gently.
  • Transfer this batter to a greased baking tray and bake for 50 - 55 minutes or until a skewer inserted to the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Transfer the loaf to a wire rack and let it cool completely.

Ingredients:

  1. Wheat flour - 1.5 cups
  2. Baking powder - 2 tsp
  3. Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  4. Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Salt - 1/4 tsp
  6. Vegetable oil - 1/4 cup
  7. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  8. Yogurt - 1 cup
  9. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  10. Grated carrot - 3/4 cup
  11. Raisins - 1/2 cup
Preparation:
  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Sift together wheat flour baking powder, baking soda,cinnamon powder and salt.Keep it aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together vegetable oil and sugar.Add in yogurt along with vanilla essence and mix well.To this, add the sieved flour mixture and fold in gently until combined.
  • Next, add grated carrot and give a gentle mix.Dust raisins with some flour.Add it to the batter and fold again.
  • Transfer the prepared batter to a greased baking pan and bake for 1 hour or until a skewer or knife inserted to the center of the bread comes out clean.Transfer to a cooling rack and let it cool completely.Slice and serve with tea/coffee.

Ingredients:

  1. Wheat flour - 1.5 cups
  2. Sugar - 1 cup
  3. Unsweetened cocoa powder - 3 tbsp
  4. Vegetable oil - 1/4 cup
  5. White vinegar - 1 tbsp
  6. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  7. Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  9. Hot water - 1 cup
  10. Salt - 1/4 tsp
For chocolate frosting:
  1. Melted unsalted butter - 2 tbsp
  2. Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1.5 tbsp
  3. Icing sugar - 1/2 cup
  4. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  5. Milk - 2 tbsp or as needed
Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • In a mixing bowl, sieve together wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda , unsweetened cocoa powder and salt.Keep it aside.
  • In another bowl, mix together sugar and vegetable oil.To this, add vinegar and vanilla essence.Add hot water and mix well.
  • To this mixture, add the sieved flour and mix thoroughly without any lumps remaining.
  • Line a cup cake tray with paper cups and fill each cup about 2/3rd full with the batter.
  • Place it in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted to the cupcake comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool.While the cupcakes are cooling, make the frosting.Spread the chocolate frosting only after complete cooling.
  • For chocolate frosting, in a bowl, mix all the ingredients listed.Spread it evenly on the cupcake and enjoy!!


Serves - 1

Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour/Maida - 1/3 cup
  2. Sugar - 1.5 tbsp
  3. Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1.5 tbsp
  4. Baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Chocolate chips - 1.5 tbsp + for garnishing
  6. Vegetable oil - 1 tsp
  7. Milk - 1/3 cup
  8. Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt - a pinch
Preparation:

  • Take a large microwave safe coffee mug.Add in all purpose flour, sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and mix well .Incorporate all the flour off the bottom of the mug.
  • To this, add oil, milk and vanilla essence.Mix everything well using a fork .Blend until all ingredients are combined and gently fold in chocolate chips .
  • Keep a paper towel in the microwave and place the mug on top of it.Microwave in full power for 2 minutes.(Mine was 1500 watt microwave.Cooking time depends on wattage of your microwave)
  •  Let it cool for 2-3 minutes.Top it with some chocolate chips and enjoy!!

Ingredients:

For cake:


  1. All purpose flour/Maida - 1.5 cups
  2. Unsweetened cocoa powder - 3 tbsp
  3. Sugar - 1 cup
  4. Baking soda - 3/4 tsp
  5. Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Water - 1 cup
  7. White vinegar - 1 tbsp
  8. Vegetable oil - 1/4 cup
  9. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  10. Salt - 1/4 tsp
For frosting:

  1. Heavy cream - 2 cups
  2. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  3. Confectioner's sugar - 1/4 cup
For filling and decorating:

  1. Chopped pitted cherries - 1/2 cup
  2. Whipped cream -1/2 cup
  3. Syrup that comes with the cherry or sugar syrup - 1/2 cup
  4. Grated milk chocolate - 1 cup
  5. Pitted whole cherries -8 nos
Preparation:


  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • In a bowl sieve together all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.Set aside.
  • In another mixing bowl, mix together vegetable oil and sugar .Add in vanilla essence, vinegar and water.Mix it again.To this mixture, add in the sieved flour.Mix both the wet and dry ingredients using a whisk to form a batter without any lumps.
  • Transfer to a greased baking pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer or knife inserted to the center comes out clean.




  • Let it cool completely.Meanwhile, prepare the frosting.In a bowl take the heavy cream and beat it until it begins to thicken.Add in confectioner's sugar along with vanilla essence and beat again until stiff peaks form.
  • Place  the cake in a serving plate and cut it horizontally in half using a long knife.Remove the upper half carefully and set aside.On the cake on the serving plate, pour some cherry syrup generously and top it with cream.Spread it evenly and add chopped cherries.



  • Place the other half on top of it and pour the remaining syrup. Cover it with  whipped cream frosting.Reserve some cream for decoration.Refrigerate the cake for at least two hours.



  • Decorate the cake with remaining whipped cream frosting and top it with some cherries.Sprinkle grated chocolate on top and sides generously.



  • Refrigerate until serving.Slice and enjoy this yummy black forest cake..



Ingredients:

For caramel syrup:

  1. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  2. Water - 3/4 cup
Other ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
  2. Butter - 1/2 cup
  3. Egg - 2 nos
  4. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  5. Raisins - 1/2 cup
  6. Tutti frutti - 1/4 cup
  7. Cashews - 1/4 cup
  8. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  9. Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp
  10. Cloves powder - 1/4 tsp
  11. Dry ginger powder - 1/4 tsp
  12. Nutmeg powder - a pinch
  13. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  14. Salt - 1/4 tsp
  15. Orange/apple juice - for soaking dry fruits
Preparation:

  • Soak raisins,tutti frutti and cashews in apple/orange juice overnight.
  • For the caramel syrup, heat sugar in a heavy bottomed pan until it melts and changes color to brown.Do not stir in between .Carefully add 3/4 cup water and stir well.Heat for 3-4 minutes and switch off the flame.Let it cool completely.
  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • Sieve together flour, baking powder, salt and set aside.Add all the spice powders and mix well.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar till creamy.Add in egg and beat till it becomes fluffy .Add the caramel syrup and mix well.
  • To this, add the sieved flour mixture in small quantities and fold gently.
  • Drain the soaked dry fruits and dust with some flour.Add it to the prepared batter and mix gently.
  • Transfer to a greased baking pan and bake for 50 - 55 minutes or until a skewer inserted to the center of the cake comes out clean.




Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour/Maida - 2 cups
  2. Pineapple slices - 6 nos
  3. White sugar - 1 cup
  4. Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
  5. Butter - 2 tbsp
  6. Baking powder - 1.5 tsp
  7. Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  8. Yogurt - 1/2 cup
  9. Vanilla essence - 2 tsp
  10. Pineapple juice - 1 cup
  11. Vegetable oil - 1/4 cup
  12. Salt - 1/4 tsp
  13. Strawberries/cherries - for garnishing
Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • Sieve together all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together white sugar and vegetable oil.Add yogurt and mix well.
  • To this, add in vanilla essence and pineapple juice and mix again.
  • Add the sieved flour mixture to this and mix gently.
  • Heat butter in a pan and stir in  the brown sugar.Pour this mixture to a cake pan and place pineapple slices over it.
  • Pour the prepared batter over the arranged pineapple slices and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer or knife inserted to the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool for 10 minutes.Then, invert the cake onto a serving plate.Slice and serve!!



Ingredients:

For cupcakes:

  1. All purpose flour/Maida - 1.5 cups
  2. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  3. Butter - 1/2 cup
  4. Eggs - 2 nos
  5. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  6. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  7. Milk - 2 tbsp
  8. Salt - 1/4 tsp
For vanilla frosting:

  1. Confectioners'sugar - 1 cup
  2. Butter - 1 tbsp
  3. Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  4. Milk - 2 tsp
  5. Food colour - a pinch(optional)
Preparation:

Cupcakes:


  • Preheat oven to 375 F.Line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  • Sieve together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat sugar, butter and eggs till fluffy.
  • To this, add vanilla essence and beat again.
  • Add flour to this mixture along with milk fold gently.
  • Divide the batter equally among prepared cups .
  • Bake for 20 -25 minutes or until a skewer inserted the the center of a cupcake comes out clean 
  • Transfer the cupcakes to a wire rack and let it cool.
Vanilla frosting:

  • Beat butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add in vanilla essence, milk and beat again.
  • Add food colour if needed.

  4. Egg - 2 nos
  5. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  6. Milk - 1/2 cup
  7. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  8. Tutti frutti - 1/2 cup
  9. Salt - 1/4 tsp
Preparation:


  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Dust tutti frutti with some flour and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar. Add in eggs and beat until fluffy.Add in vanilla essence.
  • In another bowl, sieve together maida, baking powder and salt. 
  • Add this dry mixture along with tutti frutti to beaten egg mixture.Add milk and fold gently. 
  • Transfer to a baking tray and bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until done.





Ingredients:

  1. Wheat flour - 1.5 cups
  2. Ripe banana - 3 nos
  3. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  4. Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  5. Oil - 2 tbsp 
  6. Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
  7. Sugar - 1/4 cup
  8. Salt - 1/4 tsp
  9. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  10. Raisins - 2 tbsp
Preparation:

  • In a  bowl, sieve the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and set aside.
  • In another mixing bowl, combine together mashed banana, oil, brown sugar , granulated sugar and vanilla essence.
  • To this add the dry ingredients and fold gently. Do not over mix. Add raisins to this batter and give a gentle mix.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.Divide the batter equally in cup cake liners placed in a muffin pan and bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until done.



Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour - 2 cups
  2. Sugar - 1  1/4 cup
  3. Baking powder - 2 tsp
  4. Eggs - 4 nos
  5. Butter - 1/2 cup or 1 stick(at room temperature )
  6. Vanilla essence - 1 1/2 tsp
  7. Milk - 3/4 cup
  8. Baking cocoa - 2 tbsp
  9. Hot water - 2 tbsp
Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Sift together flour ,salt and baking powder in a bowl and set  aside.
  • Beat together butter, sugar and eggs for 5 -6 minutes or until it becomes smooth.
  • To this mixture add vanilla essence and beat again .
  • Beat in the flour mixture in 3 batches.Divide the batter between two bowls.Keep one aside and pour the other into a greased and floured baking tray.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder and hot water till smooth.
  • Stir this cocoa mixture into the reserved batter.Drop by spoonfuls on top of  the white batter.
  • Using a knife, swirl the cocoa batter into the white batter .
  • Bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until a skewer or knife  comes out clean.
  • Cool and transfer to wire racks.
  • Slice it and enjoy!!

  2. Sugar - 1 cup
  3. Egg - 2 nos
  4. Baking powder - 1/2 tsp

  • In a large bowl,beat the eggs until fluffy.To this add sugar and beat again.
  • Next add oil ,orange juice, vanilla essence and mix well.
  • To this mixture, add the sieved flour ,orange zest and fold gently.
  • Pour this batter to a greased and floured cake pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until done.


Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour/Maida -1.25 cups
  2. Sugar -3/4 cup
  3. Eggs - 3 nos
  4. Oil - 1/2 cup
  5. Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Salt - 1/4 tsp
  7. Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  8. Yellow food color - few drops/ a pinch

Preparation:

  • Sift together maida and baking powder .
  • In a large mixing bowl, take oil and sugar. Mix it well till the sugar get dissolved.
  • Add in the eggs one by one and beat it well.
  • Next add the vanilla essence and salt.
  • Add the maida mixture as two or three batches and mix well.
  • Transfer the batter to a well greased square cake pan.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 F/180 C .
  • Bake the cake for about 30 minutes or until it's done.Check by inserting a knife or tooth pick.if it comes out clean, then the cake is done.
  • Transfer the cake to a cooling rack and let it cool.
  • After it get cooled, cut the cake into 1 inch thick pieces.
  • Transfer the slices to a lined cookie tray and bake them again in the same temperature(350 F ).
  • Bake one side for 10 mins .Then turn every single pieces and bake for another 10 mins.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Store in an airtight container.
