Cauliflower Pepper Masala
Ingredients:
- Cauliflower florets - 2 cups
- Onion - 2 , sliced
- Tomato - 1 , chopped
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Green chilli - 2
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Crushed black pepper - 2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Oil - 1.5 tbsp
- Salt - as needed
- Wash the cauliflower florets and boil them adding salt and turmeric powder until it becomes soft .Drain water and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan . Add sliced onion ,salt, ginger garlic paste , green chilli and curry leaves; saute till it turns golden brown.
- Add all the spice powders except crushed pepper and fry for few seconds.
- Add in chopped tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft.
- To this, add the cooked cauliflower florets along with crushed black pepper and mix gently.Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Switch off the flame.Serve with rice, chapatis etc.
