Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
  2. Semolina/Rava - 1 tbsp
  3. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  4. Ghee/melted unsalted butter - 1/2 cup
  5. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt - a pinch
  8. Almonds - as needed
Preparation:

  • Powder sugar  and cardamom together and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, sieve maida, baking powder and salt.Add semolina and mix well.
  • To this, add ghee/melted butter and powdered sugar mixture to form a soft dough .Do not add water.
  • Make equal sized small balls out of it. Flatten them softly and press an almond on top.Transfer to a lined baking tray.
  • In a 350 F preheated oven,bake for 15 to 20 minutes or till golden brown .
