Mushroom Fried Rice

Ingredients:

  1. Cooked rice - 2.5 cups
  2. Button mushroom sliced - 1 cup
  3. Onion - 1 small
  4. Capsicum - 1 
  5. Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
  6. Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  7. Tomato sauce - 2 tsp
  8. Chilli sauce - 2 tsp
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Oil - as needed
  11. Green onions - for garnishing
Preparation:

  • In a non stick or heavy bottomed pan, heat oil. Add  chopped garlic and saute for a minute.
  • Next add chopped onion and salt.Mix well and saute till the onion becomes translucent.
  • Add in sliced mushrooms and fry till it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Turn the flame to high and add all the sauces one by one.
  •  Mix well and add chopped capsicum. Cook for 3- 4 minutes.
  • Finally, add in the cooked rice Give a quick stir.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
