Baby Corn Manchurian
Ingredients:
- Baby corn - 12 nos
- All purpose flour/Maida - 2 tbsp
- Corn Flour - 2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Capsicum - 1
- Onion - 1
- Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
- Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
- Chilli Sauce - 1.5 tsp
- Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
- Green onion/Cilantro - for garnishing
- Wash well and chop the baby corn into 1 inch pieces.
- In a bowl mix together maida, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, pepper powder and salt .Add enough water to form a batter which is not too thick or thin.
- Dip each baby corn pieces in the prepared batter and deep fry them till crispy .
- Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and saute for few seconds.
- Next add cubed onions and enuogh salt and saute again for 2 - 3 minutes.
- To this, add soy sauce, tomato ketchup and chilli sauce.Mix everything well.
- Add in chopped capsicum and saute for few more minutes.
- Finally add the fried baby corn and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped green onion or cilantro.
