Aaloo Jeera
Ingredients:
- Boiled, peeled and cubed potatoes - 4
- Cumin seeds - 2 tsp
- Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
- Chopped green chilli - 1 tsp
- Red chilli - 2 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Hing - a pinch
- Lemon juice - 2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
- Oil - as needed
- Heat oil in a non stick pan.Add red chillies, and cumin seeds.Let the cumin seeds crack.
- Add in chopped ginger and green chillies. Fry for a minute.
- Next, add turmeric powder and hing .Add in the cubed potatoes and enough salt.
- Mix well everything.Stir fry for few minutes.
- Switch off the flame .Add lemon juice and chopped cilantro.
- Mix well and serve hot.
