Baby Corn Manchurian

Ingredients:

  1. Baby corn - 12 nos
  2. All purpose flour/Maida - 2 tbsp
  3. Corn Flour - 2 tbsp
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  5. Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
  6. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt - to taste
  8. Capsicum - 1
  9. Onion - 1
  10. Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
  11. Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  12. Chilli Sauce  - 1.5 tsp
  13. Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
  14. Green onion/Cilantro - for garnishing
Preparation:

  • Wash well and chop the baby corn into 1 inch pieces.
  • In a bowl mix together maida, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, pepper powder and  salt .Add enough water to form a batter which is not too thick or thin.
  • Dip each baby corn pieces in the prepared batter and deep fry them till crispy .
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and saute for few seconds.
  • Next add cubed onions and enuogh salt and saute again for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • To this, add soy sauce, tomato ketchup and chilli sauce.Mix everything well.
  • Add in chopped capsicum and saute for few more minutes.
  • Finally add the fried baby corn and mix well.
  • Garnish with chopped green onion or cilantro.
