Peanut Cookies
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
- Milk - 3 tbsp
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp
- Roasted Peanuts - 1/2 cup
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Preheat oven to 375 F.Sieve together all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, mix together vegetable oil and sugar.Add in vanilla essence , milk and mix well.To this, add in the sieved flour mixture Mix gently to form a smooth dough.Finally add in crushed peanuts and knead again.
- Make small balls out of the prepared dough and flatten them using your hands .Transfer to a lined baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Transfer to a cooling rack and let it cool for 30 minutes.Store in an air tight container.
