Orange Cake
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour - 1.5 cups
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Egg - 2 nos
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- Vegetable oil - 1/4 cup
- Orange juice - 1 /2 cup
- Orange zest - 1/2 tsp
- Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Preheat the oven to 350 F/180 C.
- Sieve flour,baking soda ,baking powder, salt and set aside.
- In a large bowl,beat the eggs until fluffy.To this add sugar and beat again.
- Next add oil ,orange juice, vanilla essence and mix well.
- To this mixture, add the sieved flour ,orange zest and fold gently.
- Pour this batter to a greased and floured cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until done.
