Chicken Burger
Ingredients:
For chicken patties:
- Boneless chicken - 1/2 kg
- Breadcrumbs - 1 cup
- Finely chopped onion - 1/2 cup
- Egg - 1
- Pepper powder - 1.5 tsp
- Garlic powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - as needed
For burger:
- Burger bun - as needed
- Onion - 1, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Chopped lettuce - 1/4 cup
- Cheese slice - as needed
- Tomato ketchup
- Mayonnaise
Preparation:
- Pressure cook chicken in enough water adding 1/2 tsp pepper powder and salt.
- After cooling, shred the cooked chicken into small pieces .Add it in a food processor and pulse it 3-4 times .
- In a mixing bowl, mix together chicken, breadcrumbs, chopped onions, egg,pepper powder, garlic powder and enough salt.
- Make patties out of this mixture and place them on a lined baking tray.Bake for 20 minutes at 450 F.Instead of baking,you can shallow fry the patties .
- For making burger, place some chopped lettuce on a slice of bun and top it with sliced tomato and onion.Place patties on top of it.Add ketchup and mayonnaise.Top it with a cheese slice.Cover with another slice of bun and enjoy..
