Baked Sweet Diamond Cuts
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Cardamom - 4 nos
- Black sesame seeds - 1 tsp
- Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Water - as needed
- Preheat oven to 425 F.Powder sugar along with cardamom and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, mix together wheat flour, powdered sugar, sesame seeds, salt and vegetable oil.Add in enough water to form a smooth and soft dough.
- Divide it into two halves and set one aside .With a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a thin sheet.Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into equal sized diamonds.Repeat the same with the remaining dough.
- Transfer the diamonds to a baking sheet and bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool completely and store in an airtight container.Enjoy this healthy snack with a cup of tea.
