Veg Besan Bread Toast
Ingredients:
- Bread slice - 4 nos
- Oil - 2 -3 tbsp or as needed
- Besan /gram flour - 3/4 cup
- Chopped onion - 2 tbsp
- Chopped tomato - 2 tbsp
- Chopped capsicum - 2 tbsp
- Grated carrot - 2 tbsp
- Chopped ginger - 1/2 tsp
- Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
- Chopped green chilli - 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Pepper powder - a pinch
- Hing - a pinch
- Salt - as needed
- Water - as needed
- In a mixing bowl, mix together all the ingredients listed under 'for batter' .Add enough water to form a batter of semi thick consistency.
- Cut the bread slices into triangles and dip each one in the prepared batter.Spread the veggie mixture on top of the slices using a spoon.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook the bread slices , 2 or 3 at a time .Fry both sides on medium flame until it turns golden brown.
- Remove from flame and serve hot with tomato sauce.
